Getting Started with Voiceflow

Introduction

Voiceflow is a very versatile tool, provides massive acceleration, and enabling to experiment without fear. Voiceflow allowed to focus on value-adding activities, such as orchestration and building a robust, generative conversational architecture. Voiceflow is a platform for designing, building, testing, and deploying conversational AI agents-both voice and chat-based. It provides tools for non-technical users to collaborate, prototype, and integrate with other systems.

Learning objectives

By the end of this lab, you will be able to:

• Successfully sign up for a new Voiceflow account

• Configure conversational agents across different channels

• Access and navigate the dashboard where design projects are created

Step 1: Navigate to the website

• In a browser, open Voiceflow.

• Select Get started free or a Sign in.

Step 2: Create an account

• On the sign in page, you can select either Continue with Google or using an email. If you have a Google account, you can sign in with it.

• To sign in using email, fill in the details, such as Full name, Email, and Password.

• Ensure check the box to agree to the terms of service and privacy policy, then select Create account.

• Once you add all the details, verify email that you receive on the email.

Step 3: Build first AI agent

• Once you log in successfully, you'll be greeted with a short welcome video that shows you how to set up your first AI agent.

• You can watch the tutorial by selecting Start tutorial or can skip it by choosing Yes, skip.

Step 4: Explore the dashboard

• You will land on your new dashboard, which is your main workspace with one popup box, select cross 'X'.

• Now you will see the dashboard where you can build, edit, and manage your AI agents using a visual, drag-and-drop interface.

• In the top left corner, you will find a menu options, such as go back to dashboard, share your prototype, and invite members. You can also run, test, and publish your agents from this dashboard.

Once you have an account, you can start building an agent from scratch or use a template to help you automate tasks.
